About the business

The Lake Tyrrell we see nowadays is one of the few remaining fragments of an ancient mega lake known as Lake Bungunnia, which was formed approximately three million years ago after a geological change in South Australia dammed the Murray River.

Lake Tyrrell Salt Co. has now extended our Gourmet Outback Vic Range with native herbs from local farms and winery and also new packaging including local Indigenous artwork designed by Jackie and Robbie wirramanda from Lake Tyrrell Arts.

Lake Tyrrell Gourmet Salt Flakes will enrich the flavours of all your favourite dishes. Recognised for its purity and mineral content, salt flakes are produced from underground streams rising to the surface of this pristine!
